The ideal refuge, a life project without pretense, keeps us awake. And we live, night after night, in turmoil - “and me and me” -, relentlessly focused on the project, every night, obsessed, we dream, we dream…
Then comes insomnia - desire, desires.
The house becomes a trap and an unfulfilled longing.
A piercing, lingering doubt in a suffocating cocoon, our sleepless nights are breathless, breath cut short and throat tightened.
Tangled in the cover, the stomach grows heavy.
So we dream, we dream of escaping. Leaving, abandoning the home, the sinking ship, and the dying couple.
